Assessments –

Rookies (6s and 7s Coach Pitch) will be on Thursday, February 16^th at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 18^th at 1:00 p.m.

LL8 and LL9 assessments will be on Saturday, February 18^th at 11:00 a.m. and Thursday, February 23^rd at 6:30 p.m.

Minors/Majors will be held on Saturday, February 18^th at 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 22^nd at 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, February 25^th at 9:00 a.m.

***Each Player must attend one of these dates, otherwise the player will be placed in a lottery drawing for Team placement.

Bear Creek Little League has partnered with the area’s new professional minor league baseball team, the Sugar Land Skeeters, to raise money for our league. As a league we have no financial obligation, no promise of sales - just an opportunity to fundraise for the benefit of our league and the children who play in it.

The Sugar Land Skeeters begin their inaugural season at the beautiful $35 million dollar StarTex Power Field on April 26, 2012 and are managed by former MLB All-Star Gary Gaetti. The Sugar Land Skeeters provide affordable family entertainment. The new stadium features a playground, 8-story video board, pool, splash pad, carousel, fireworks, as well as giveaway and special promotional nights. Our league will receive 10% of the 8-game ticket plan revenue by simply “Checking the Box” indicating our league as the beneficiary. The ticket plans are very affordable, eight games for just $80. In theory, each household purchasing four plans raises $32 for our league.

What can you do as a parent do to help spread the word? Tell all of your family and friends, send out information via email, post it on your social media sites, or distribute custom flyers provided by the Skeeters for our league.

Please keep in mind the generous prizes that will be associated with how many plans are purchased on our league’s behalf. Each league that sells over 200 packs will earn the right to have the Skeeters grounds crew come out to their fields for a private seminar with your grounds team, and 300 packs will be awarded their championship game at StarTex Power Field. Skeeters Mesquite Grill has also added in a great opportunity for our league to win an outing at their restaurant.
